INFORMATION
About the American Council
on Coaching Certification Renewal
Program
Because coaches are held to very
high standards by the community, parents,
and team, we have developed a certification
renewal system that will ensure that
coaches continue to possess the knowledge
to coach. Prior to renewal of a certification,
the American Council on Coaching requires
completion of a 25 question renewal
examination. This renewal exmination
will provide insight as to how much
knowledge you have gained in your
area of coaching since the completion
of the initial certification course.
Renewal Fees
Each American Council on Coaching
certification is valid for two years
after the completion date and can
be renewed anytime within 90 days
of the expiration date printed on
the certificate. The renewal fee is
$25 for each certification you wish
to renew
About The Renewal Examination
The certification renewal examination
will consist of 25 questions that
originate from the actual certification
examination completed initially. Please
be sure to reference your textbooks
received when registering for the
course to prepare for the certification
renewal examination.
How to Renew Your Certification
- Login to the Exam
Center within 90 days prior to
the expiration date printed on the
official certification certificate.
Note: You may check the expiration
date of your certification by logging
into the My
Account section.
- Prior to beginning the renewal examination,
you will be asked to pay the $25 renewal
fee via our secure online order processing
system.
- Successfully complete (75% or higher)
the 25 question renewal examination
in the area of your coaching certification
- Following completion of the renewal
examination, you will receive an updated
certification certificate that is
valid for another two years within
21 business days.
- Maintain your coaching certification
for another two years!
