Are the certification courses
accredited?
All American Council on
Coaching certification
courses have undergone rigorous
program evaluation by health professionals
such as Physical and Occupational
Therapists, Physician's Assistants,
Teachers, Principals, Coaches and
certified Fitness Professionals.
The American Council on
Coaching certification
courses have received the seal of
approval and accreditation by the
American Council of Fitness Education
(ACFE).

About the Certification Courses
How Does it Work?
- Purchase the course and receive
the official study materials in
the mail
- Review the study material (appx
200 pg coaching book and appx 150
page book of drills) at your own
pace
- When ready to complete the final
examination (online), login to the
Exam Center and complete the 100
question examination
- When finished, your examination
score will be displayed immediately
- Upon sucessful completion, an
official certification certificate
will be mailed to your address on
file.
Once I register for the course,
how long do I have to complete the
course?
We encourage participants to complete
the course within 12 months of registration.
Extensions may be granted due to certain
circumstances.
How long does it take to
receive my official certification
certificate following sucessful completion
of a course?
The certification certificate will
arrive in the mail within 21 business
days of completion of the course examination.
How long is my certification
valid?
The certification certificate will
expire two years from the date of
issuance printed on the certificate.
Once the expiration date has been
reached, there is a $25 fee to reinstate
the certificate. After the $25 renewal
payment has been received and the
25 question renewal examination (see
renewal info) completed, a new
certificate valid for another two
years will be sent.
How long will I have to complete
the final examination?
Once you begin the examination, you
will have 180 minutes to complete
the examination.
What happens if my computer
is disconnected in the middle of the
examination?
Simply reconnect and login to the
Exam Center. All answers will be saved
Continue to answer the examination
questions that remain.
How many questions are on
the course examination?
The certification examinations consist
of 100 multiple choice and True/False
questions.
What is the required minimum
score to pass the course examination?
The minimum score required is a 75%.
What must I do if I fail
the course examination?
Retest are available immediately
after unsuccessfull completion of
an examination. You may register for
the retest immediately following unsuccessfull
completion of an examination for a
$25 fee. There is no limit to the
amount of retests one can complete.
